for relaxation and stress reduction
Reiki (ray-kee) is an ancient Japanese healing technique and is not associated with religion. Most uses in our western medicine is for relaxation and stress reduction on a mental, physical and spiritual level. It promotes a balance between ones physical and mental being. "Rei" translates to mean universal intelligence or higher power and "ki" means life force energy.
In eastern medicine Reiki is used for total body healing, as taught by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. It is a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which the practitioner uses his/her palms to transfer the universal energy to the receiver.

During a Reiki session I will use a pendulum crystal to check your Chakras for blockages and clear, open and close them as needed to bring them into an energetic balance. I will also use crystals, strategically placed on or under the body, for each chakra to help balance them as well.
